• In order to play in the WSOP tournament, you should be more than 21 years old

• The tournament as well as satellite seats will be chosen randomly.

• Using of mobile phones is not allowed. A player who wishes to do so, must move away from the poker table.

• When a player goes all-in and all the action is finished, players should turn their cards face-up.

• In a chip race, each player is entitled to a maximum of one chip. The race commences with the first seat. If a player looses the chip race, such player will receive a chip with the smallest value still in play.

• Odd chips will go to the superior hand. In games involving flops, there are more than two low and high hands, so the player on the left of the button gets the odd chips. In Stud poker, the odd chips are given to the player with the highest card in terms of suit, except when there are efforts to equally divide similar hands.

• Side pots will be divided as an independent pot. They will not be combined prior to splitting.

• When sufficient time limit has been given to a player, a clock will come into the picture and the player will have a minute to decide. If no decision has been reached, a ten second countdown will commence. If there is still no action from the player, their hand will be considered "dead."

• In a tournament, a dead button is used.

• Penalties will be charged in case a player depicts their cards with action still pending, if a card goes off the playing table, if soft play or other incidents take place. Likewise, there will be penalties if any player is maltreated or there is disruption of the proceedings.

• If a player makes a raise which is more than half of the previous wager, they will be required to put in a full raise. The amount will be equivalent to the allowable minimum raise.
